Definitely scammer. Support service takes days before responding, claims a problem with "invoice/session" matching wth???
After 5days, I wanted a refund (time is money but they don't care), they keep saying to wait, then they closed the ticket.

Initial setup over Tor was smooth and it is great that they don't require an email address.
Hosting is in Iceland only. There were not many hosting options, but I opened a ticket to see if they could do a custom setup. No direct experience with their hosting yet.

    • UPDATE: Looks scammy

36 hours ago I ordered a dedicated server and paid the invoice in Monero.
After 10 confirmations, the system still said the payment was not recognized.
Support guy has confirmed the payment was received, but just keeps telling me to "wait" for the automated system.
It's now been 1000 confirmations and 36 hours of waiting...

Danger signs which suggest a scam, but do not prove it:

      1. Support acted offended when I suggested this is unprofessional and looks scammy, yet they have done nothing to fix the error. They just continue to provide BS excuses as to why the server is not setup.

      2. They claim to have released Open Source code here: https://codeberg.org/NoData-Hosting/NoData-Core
But if you look at the actual "code" -- it is... we'll just a few cobbled together functions, nothing real to operate a website or server provisioning system. There are many docs referenced that don't exist and the whole thing is just a month old.

      3. I see zero evidence they are actually in Iceland as claimed.

Sad because I was about to give them a lot of business, but I don't have time for this crap.

I don't trust them and have asked for my money back.

Let's see if they honor it.
I'll update this if they ever send the refund, but won't hold my breath.

    • UPDATE: Issue resolved

Wanted to post a follow-up since the situation has now been fully fixed by NoData Hosting.

Turns out the delay was caused by a mistake on my end related to the payment details/order setup, which ended up confusing the automated processing system. The support agent manually checked everything, confirmed the payment, and eventually got the server provisioned correctly.

I was frustrated at the time because of the delay and lack of clarity, but after speaking further with support, they did sort it out and handled the issue professionally.

So for fairness, I’m updating this to say they did not scam me and the service was ultimately delivered.

    • CONFORMED SCAMMERS
The message above says NoData "confirmed the payment, and eventually got the server provisioned correctly" -- THEY DID NO SUCH THING. They closed the ticket for the 4th time with nothing at all resolved: no invoice credit, no server provisioned -- only a mocking refusal to refund my money when I said I don't trust them anymore.
I've been way too patient and polite.
      Don't send these guys money.
I wish I could change my 4-star rating to ZERO, but this site doesn't allow changes.

    • Pay attention to the PGP key used to sign messages... the SCAMMER is pretending to be me and saying "Issue resolved" -- but the key is different. I did not write that and the PGP key fingerprint proves it.

      My key: BAA719A614A2FE1566709A238BFC55B9F9F388C8

Same situation is seen below where Author: A7128E3A3DEE53A2937040E204FB685AD6C164A2 claims scam, then Author: 7C12F19616A8B55F0DAC8B620B5E3E8177C1BDAA says "my vps is deployed". Damn, I should have seen that. Now I wasted $65 on these fuckers.

    • Clarification since there seems to be confusion in this thread.

The earlier “issue resolved” message that people are arguing about was indeed posted from a different key because I no longer had access to the original signing environment at the time. That’s on me and I understand why people questioned it.

What matters is that support actually did resolve the issue afterward. The payment was manually verified, the provisioning problem was fixed, and the service was delivered.

The delay and communication problems were frustrating, which is why I reacted the way I did initially, but I’m posting this update for accuracy. In my case, NoData Hosting ultimately came through and fixed the situation.

    • SCAMMERS WILL SCAM
Wow, this guy is relentless. Once again pretending to be me: "I no longer had access to the original signing environment" -- what Bullshit. Once again, check the key. I obviously still have access because I'm writing this message.

NoData.pw are thieves -- they didn't resolve anything.

    Suspicious Review
Solid VPS hosting with great privacy standards. I like that they accept Monero and require no personal info. The control panel works fine, and setup was quick. Only downside was that support took a bit longer to respond than expected, but overall it’s a good service for privacy conscious users..

    Suspicious Review
Just picked up the entry level slice (2 x Xeon E5-2680 v4 / 1GB / 30GB) Great to see a privacy first project actually putting high-spec Broadwell-EP silicon to use instead of the usual oversold legacy hardware. Solid project, definitely keeping an eye on this.
