  a mediocre hosting provider with a crude presentation that almost seems like a scam, but surprisingly, they are a legitimate host. they are good for small things like discord bots. they currently have 4 payment providers allowing them to accept crypto and fiat, and they offer a variety of services including shared hosting, a VPN, OVZ and KVN VPSes in the Netherlands, a whole bunch of overpriced dedicated servers across europe and in the USA, IPv4 blocks and IPv6 allocations, domains, SSL certificates, and ISPmanager licenses.
  
  they respond fairly quickly and tersely to tickets, and their uptime is excellent (99.97% SLA. i never had ANY outages while i was hosting with them.)
  
  however, there are drawbacks to prohoster: do NOT host nsfw or game servers. they have very little patience for these things. an email account and some personal information (name, phone number) is required to have an account, and they will ban if the information is found to be false. they are not a privacy host and so they are unattractive to anyone who enjoys their privacy. their panel also sucks. they upgraded it some time ago, but it still sucks. its messy and buggy and totally disrespects the browsers language options, repeatedly defaulting to Russian.
  
  i have stopped using prohoster in 2024 because i found better hosts which improve on every aspect mentioned so far, including lenience, privacy, and cost effectiveness.
